Description:dotConnect for DB2 is an enhanced ORM enabled data provider built on ADO.NET technology, that allows developers to easily integrate DB2 data with widely used data-oriented technologies and use them in .NET applications. dotConnect for DB2 supports DB2 for LUW 9.x and higher. dotConnect for DB2 can be used with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, 2010, and 2012, 2013 and Embarcadero Delphi Prism.

* Entity Framework Support. dotConnect for DB2 provides far more advanced Entity Framework support than
IBM DB2 .NET Data Provider. It allows you to use code-first, model-first,
database-first, and mixed development approaches, supports all versions of
Entity Framework, and comes with a bundled visual ORM model designer -
Entity Developer. Entity Developer allows much easier and more convenient
Entity Framework model development, and features a number of tools and
techniques to enrich the Entity Framework development capabilities.
* ASP.NET Projects Support. dotConnect for DB2 supports ASP.NET provider model, including the
SimpleMembership provider, and offers DB2DataSource component for data
access in ASP.NET projects. dotConnect for DB2 also supports ASP.NET

data flows in SQL Server Integration Services packages and can be used in
